Wivenhoe & Somerset Fishing Report

The Grand Wivenhoe Social Fishing Club have a whole lot of fun on the weekends. The Bevan Hertrich Shield Comp, held on 12 August, Angela Molloy was the lucky winner. Comp 7 also held on 12 August seen winners Lyle Robson in first place with a Bass 1.585kg, 2nd Angela Molloy with a Bass 1.530kg and best performance by a junior Shanay Jasch with a Bass 1.285kg (pictured below).

Our Sinnamon Point Competition, held on 26 August, with Kevin Birch pronounced the winner with a weight of  8.910kg.  Don’t forget the Grand Hotel raffles held every Saturday, total Jackpot is $725 and goes up $25 each week until the Joker is turned over.

Comp 8 is on 16 September, any fresh, weigh in at Sinnamon Point 3pm, followed by a general meeting.  Tight lines everybody.
