ESK and TOOGOOLAWAH are both South East Queensland’s Property HOT SPOTS!

There are not many places where you can throw a line in the water and still get to work at 8.30 a.m.  Ray White Rural Esk Principal Wayne Jaenke lives that reality in Esk and was not surprised the town was named as a property Hot Spot. Ray White Rural Esk Toogoolawah is a family owned and operated business with six generations of the Jaenke family; synonymous throughout the entire Somerset Region for honesty, commitment, longevity and persistence.  Our family prides itself on Community involvement and is committed to supporting the many community service clubs throughout the area.

Our country town offers a Hospital, two Medical Centres, Social Clubs offering Bowls, Golf, Tennis etc plus community service clubs, Prep to Year 12 available, Hotels/Motels, Cafés, Bakery and Restaurants, Art, Craft and Collectibles and much more.

Esk is situated 1 hour from Brisbane with beautiful country roads meandering around the stunning Lakes Wivenhoe and Somerset. With our beautiful rural views towards our majestic Glen Rock, our relaxed pace of life and the friendliness of the people, breathtaking scenery and native bush lands, Esk is truly a beautiful place to live.  Affectionately known as the ‘Valley Of The Lakes’, a recreational playground for the anglers and water sport enthusiasts with the Lake Wivenhoe’s Hamon Cove only a 15 minute drive featuring boat ramp and picnic facilities and offering a place to unwind with the family at the numerous picnic and camping spots sprinkled throughout the waters edge.  Lake Somerset’s boat ramp is only a half hour drive and also caters for power boats.

Toogoolawah, 15 minutes from Esk, featuring the world famous Ramblers Drop Zone. Famous for fun, the drop zone hosts thousands of national and international skydivers and features the biennial Equinox skydive and music festival each alternate October. “Cressbrook Station”, home to the McConnel family, was the first official settlement in the Brisbane Valley in 1841. Toogoolawah features the Watts Bridge Memorial Airfield which attracts flight enthusiasts with interest in vintage, ultralight and military aircraft.  The Alexandra Hall still today holds movies every Saturday night and also features canvas sling back chairs for that authentic old style movie feel. The beautiful township of Toogoolawah has plenty to offer.
