Wivenhoe & Somerset Fishing Report

With the cool weather now upon us, the forkies are off the bite at Somerset and this can only mean that the big fish are plentiful.  As they say,” they are on the chew”, and there is some awesome catches to report.  Both Lakes Wivenhoe and Somerset have seen very good sized Bass and Yellowbelly caught.  Red Claw are starting to come on in both Somerset and Wivenhoe.  For more information regarding rules, regulations, licences, or to join the Grand Wivenhoe Social Fishing Club, please contact Patti Jaenke 07 5424 1146.  Get outdoors on these beautiful warm winter days and catch a feed for your family and teach the kids how to fish.  A great way to get the family together on the weekends.
