Wivenhoe & Somerset Fishing Report

Good catches are being reported for both Somerset and Wivenhoe with bag limits being caught as soon as the anchor goes overboard.  Species of Yellowbelly and Bass of awesome size and weight has alot of fisherman with big smiles on their faces as they head to shore.  Always a story of the one that got away.  The Grand Wivenhoe Social Fishing Club has a strong membership of 55 adults and 25 juniors and the group prides themselves on the promotion of a healthy and respectful love of fishing.  If you are interested in fishing or joining the group, please phone Patti Jaenke, Secretary, 07 5424 1146.
